Welcome to Moat Equine
Moat Equine is based just outside Newent in the Gloucestershire countryside, and offers all inclusive and full livery packages with excellent facilities including outstanding private hacking. Your horse will want for nothing, be looked after to the highest standards, and most importantly will be kept happy.
About Us
Moat Equine was set up as a livery yard at the beginning of 2019, and has seen huge improvements and expansion since then, to create the perfect environment for your horse with modern facilities for you to use.
We have 20 stables in the main yard, with 2 heated tack rooms and all year turn out. Both summer and winter grazing is available, with night turnouts in the summer months. Your horse can have a choice of quality grazing with suitable companions, or smaller paddocks with more restrictive grazing if needed. We have miles and miles of beautiful countryside surrounding us, giving you varied possibilities for private hacking to explore and enjoy with your horse.

- 20 large monarch stables , all fully rubber matted with automatic water drinkers
- 50 x 30 all weather arena with Martin Collins surface
- Full course jump 4 joy showjumps inc all fillers
- 3x Tie up areas
- Wash bay with hot / cold shower
- Solarium
- 2 x Heated tack rooms with own client storage areas
- Heated rug driers
- Use of washing machine and drier
- All year turnout (unless the weatheris really bad)
- 5 x Horse monarch walker fully rubber matted
- Kitchen and toilet facilites with snug area
- Hay barn and feed room
- Miles of off-road private hacking to enjoy - also bridle tracks up to May Hill

Our Team
We have a small team of experienced and competent members of staff. All horses are treated like our own. Our aim is to keep the horses healthy and happy and keep a nice calm clean environment accross the yard.
